Bacha Bazi, which means “boy’s game”, is a practice that originated with Afghan soldiers during their war against the Soviets. It involves buying and exploiting boys who are trained to dance in women's garb and to obey their master, to whom they belong body and soul. Forbidden under the Taliban, this form of prostitution is undergoing a renaissance today. To investigate this illegal practice, Najibullah had to lie about the true subject of his documentary.
