In northern Uganda, a war zone for more than 20 years, it is estimated that there are more than 35,000 child soldiers. Kidnapped by Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army, some of the children manage to escape by risking their lives. Welcomed into rehabilitation centres, they try to re-enter society with help from therapists. The filmmaker followed them for a period of three years.
