Nadia El Fani is Franco-Tunisian. A secular activist, she interviews people on the street about the separation of Islam and state in Tunisia and Morocco, during Ramadan, before and during the “Jasmine Revolution”. Fighting for free speech, Nadia grasps hold of the newfound freedom to express herself and sparks debates with courage and determination. Article 1 of the Tunisian Constitution embraces Islam. Why? In Morocco, it is forbidden to break the Ramadan fast publicly. Why? A secular look at the rapidly changing Arab world.
