Murders in Central America increase at an alarming rate.  By initiating the “Super Mano Dura” (Super Hard Hand) in 1992, the Salvadoran and US authorities designate the ideal culprits: the Maras, these bands of youths, who are proliferating like an epidemic of murderous madness.  But, if their extreme violence is undeniable, it seems that their are no explanations for it. It is from their research that the documentary is derived.
