ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION is a legendary band and one of the originals that revolutionised the European alternative electronic music scene. It had a major influence on a whole generation of alternative bands, such as Zion Train, to name one of many examples. Born of a sound system in the Indian quarter of London, this deeply engaged band is a melting pot of cultures, just like its compositions, which mix traditional Indian music with dub, ragga, breakbeat, rock, dance hall, jungle, hip-hop and drum'n'bass.
