Secluded in his bunker, a Mafioso on the run says a rosary of an unusual kind. A Mystery play of pain alternates with a hymn of joy, the passion of the Christ with victims of the mafia. He recalls his life, the crimes in which he has participated - a man thrown alive into acid - as well as bibles and statues of saints he has seen and the words of Christ quoted by his fellow Mafiosi. Mysticism collides with violence, as we hear his confession, which highlights the hypocritical paradox of a world buffeted between the word of the Lord and the bloody law of the Underworld. This poetic, political theatrical work is chiselled into the rough, rhythmic Sicilian language and set to the rhythm of a percussion beat.
