Poet, novelist and iconic musician, ANTHONY JOSEPH defines his music as an ensemble of influences. ANTHONY JOSEPH and the Spasm Band marry funk, rock, Afro-beat and free jazz to offer a musical cocktail that is eclectic, balanced, energetic and irresistible. In an extravaganza of sounds, noises and stories, he invites the audience, through his entrancing rhythms, to join in the dance and even the trance. It's a frenzied Afro-jazz symphony, carried by the vocal rhythms of ANTHONY JOSEPH, magnetic singer and storyteller, who between poetry, song and slam, leads us in a devilish and possessing cadence.
