Théâtre Le Moderne
Letters, thousands of letters. More letters of denunciation than there were Jews, Freemasons or Communists. The authors: murderers? Imbeciles? Monsters? Otherwise decent people, desperately funny, terribly moving. So many characters interpreted by François Bourcier with talent and conviction. A performance alive with rhythms, funny at times, often heart-rending, historically instructive.
Adapted from André Halimi's book "Denunciation under the Occupation" (La délation sous l'occupation).
Interpreted by François Bourcier,
With the voices of Catherine Allégret, Jean-Claude Dreyfus, Francis Lalanne
Stage direction by F. Bourcier, R. Ribeiro, I. Starkier
Sound : Philippe Latron
Lights : Tonio de Carvalho
The play was specially presented to mark the 60th anniversary of the Auschwitz camp closure, at the Déjazet theater on January 27, 2005 with the participation of Stéphane Freiss.
