Disturbing, powerful and emotionnally devastating, Tears of Gaza is not a conventional documentary. There are no analyses or commentaries here. Just the unbearable reality of war. Filmed by several Palestinians during the bombing of Gaza in 2008 and 2009, this documentary focuses on the impact of these attacks on the civilian population. Although this strategy may shock some, it proves to be an effective method to destroy the myth of a clean war, formatted for programming on TV. Similar events occurred in Dresden, Tokyo, Baghdad or Sarajevo.
This film contains very violent scenes.
