Initially performing in 2003 as an acoustic quartet (bass, drums, sax, guitar), Tangawissi underwent a transformation as it met new people and made new connections. The members of the band come from various musical backgrounds and combine their respective influences to create original, warm-hearted music. They brew a magical potion made of a few jazz notes, a hint of afro-beat and reggae, a good stock of funk & hardgroove and a concentrate of original compositions, producing a harmonic elixir that will inspire celebration, exhilaration and pleasure as the audience drinks it in.
