Théatre National > Studio
The corporate world is increasingly governed by a management system with no inhibitions, based solely on profit at any price, flexibility, job instability and employee submissiveness. While some kill themselves working, others are dying from the lack of a job... Do the place and meaning we give to work still resonate in light of the changes that the economy and society in general have undergone? Can’t we invent another way of organising work that is more fulfilling, liberating and egalitarian?
With Christophe Fourel (Managing Director of Agence Nouvelle des Solidarités Actives, editor-in-chief of André Gorz, un penseur pour le XXIe siècle), Danièle Linhart (CNRS research director, author of several books about work), Françoise Bloch (theatre director, teacher and founder of Zoo Théâtre) and Hugues Esteveny (trade union delegate, socioprofessional insertion sector, FGTB-SETCa).
The debate will be preceded by a performance of the play Une société de services (une petite forme) by Françoise Bloch.
