In northern Kenya, a handful of women who were raped by British soldiers and disowned by their families created Umoja. Unlike neighbouring villages, female circumcision has been outlawed and the women prosper independently. Their struggle brings their spokesperson, Rebecca Lolosoli, to the African Summit in Nairobi.
