Environmental awareness sometimes eclipses the threat of nuclear war, which is still a relevant concern today. Two women struggle to denounce the harmful effects of these weapons: Maki, the granddaughter of a Hiroshima survivor, and Evely, the adopted daughter of a woman who was irradiated by a bomb dropped by the French on the Marshall Islands.
